3 Description

PL8316 is a monolithic 36V, 1A step-down switchingregulator. PL8316 integrates a 36V 250mΩ high sideand a 36V, 140mΩ low side MOSFETs to provide 1Acontinuous load current over a 6.5V to 36V wideoperating input voltage with 33V input over voltageprotection. Peak current mode control provides fasttransient responses and cycle-by-cycle currentlimiting.

PL8316 has configurable line drop compensation,configurable charging current limit. CC/CV modecontrol provides a smooth transition betweenconstant current charging and constant voltagecharging stages.
