3 Description

  The MX5701 is a compact, PFMmode, andstep-up DC-DC converter with lowquiescentcurrent, low-noise boost convertersareintended for low-voltage systems that oftenneed a locally generated high voltage. Theinternal synchronous rectifier reduces cost andPCB space by eliminating the needfor anexternal Schottky diode. The duty cyclefactoris automatically switched according totheloadcurrent.The start-up voltage is guaranteedbelow 1V.The APW7079 is suitable for portablebattery-powered applications. Consuminglowquiescent current and an optimizedcontrolscheme allows the device to operateat veryhigh efficiency over the entire loadcurrentrange.
